The Parade leaves Primrose Court at 13.30
It will include the Urban Gypsies, Nordmanni Viking and Saxon Re-enactment Group and Harley Davidson Motor Bikes. As well as Stilt Walkers, Dancing Troup’s, Chadkirk Dog Display Team, various Marching Bands
and much more.
Crowning Ceremony - 2:45pm
On the Old School Field after the Parade there is a Crowning Ceremony with entertainment by Smiley the Clown and the Urban Gypsies (soon to be seen on Britain Got Talent) on a second area. A dancing display, with Cheerleaders and Morris Men,
as well as
Stockport County’s Mascot’s Animo and Fide
Sunday the 11th of May at 17.40 the assembled gathering will leave the May Queen’s home at 20 Highfield Road and proceed to St Mathews Church for a service of thanks.
Monday the 12th of May there will be a visit by the May Queen, Princess and Rosebud to the fair at 18.45.
Wednesday the 14th of May there will be a Pet Show, which begins at 18.30 and is held on the Old School Field.
Friday the 16th of May there will be a Fell Race that begins at 19.30 and starts from the Old School Field.Saturday the 17th of May Children’s Disco, which will be held at the Royal Hotel between 19.00 – 21.00 and admission, is £2 per child.
Sunday the 13th of July there will be a Car boot Sale held on the Old School Field and it will start at 07.30. Cars that have pre booked will be charged £5 those that turn up on the day will be charged £6.
